Annabelle longs for the peaceful days she spent with her childhood friend, Felix, before he left for the cathedral. When she turns seventeen, she's also summoned to the cathedral because of the flower-shaped mark on her body that makes her a candidate for the saintess. Although Annabelle hopes for a warm reunion with Felix, who has become the new pope, Felix treats her coldly for some reason.
