This might be because a lot of manga treat power systems, abilities, and similar stuff as a extremely important part of the story and feel the need to take the time to focus on them and this manga just doesn’t. But it feels like this manga doesn’t really care too much about all that WHICH IS FINE but it does make fight seem lacking, I’m not talking unnecessary energy blast or anything like that but you can probably notice what I mean with the fighting at the end of last chapter with the actual sea of corpses at the start of this one. Not that it particularly ruins the whole story or anything but I would that feel like it better if they portrayed it a little better
