I’m rereading this and this part just doesn’t even make sense. First of all power or no power she’s still a duchess and this is the palace there were a ton of people there. Its ridiculous that they can kidnap someone so easily. Also how did she know she was going to leave early? It’s a stupid plot. It would’ve been better if he found out who she really was and chased her to the cabin instead of this damsel in distress plot and before anyone says it I’m not saying she’s weak I actually like her character I just get tired of forced scenes like this just so the ml can rescue her
