Cali is on a quest to discover her identity and must travel to see the elf queen of Sorte, who left her at the convent as a baby. After hearing Duke Lycan Warren and his knights are traveling in that direction, she disguises herself as the deadly duke’s fiancée and ends up in a political marriage.
