Baby Lynx of the Tiger Family

Ten-year-old Bariya considers herself the grandest, fiercest wildcat beast-kin in the entire world. But ever since losing her mother to the ruthless hyena tribe, her daily reality has been a desperate struggle for survival, fleeing from their endless hunts.

Then comes the ultimate humiliation: while on the run, she gets snatched up by a towering tiger beast-kin who can’t even tell the difference between a leopard cat and a domestic house cat!

“Is this a stray kitten?”

Just as Bariya prepares to unsheath her claws, scratch his face open, and bolt, the massive predator makes an unexpected proposal:

“You hate the hyenas too? So do we. Let’s form an alliance.”

Hoping to merely secure a safe haven under the protection of a shared enemy, Bariya reluctantly agrees. But living with the tiger tribe turns out to be far more overwhelming than fighting hyenas. Instead of strict military training, she is bombarded with endless, suffocating affection:

“Little one, do you like shoulder rides?”

“Eat! Eat more until you’re plump enough to roll around!”

“Play with me today!”

Faced with a pride of terrifying apex predators who treat a fierce wildcat like an adorable royal baby, can Bariya maintain her dignity as the world’s greatest warrior?
